Follow 45 highway north out of Kansas City along the Missouri River to Farley and there, on Main street, once a month, you’ll find a dedicated group of Freemasons holding their meeting in Fidelity Lodge. The Lodge was chartered on October 13, 1870, 32 years after the founding of the town by Jospeh Farley in 1838, the same year that Platte County was organized. As such, Fidelity Lodge #339 is the second youngest lodge in Platte County. In 1941 the Worshipful master was Brother John Farley, a direct descendant of Jospeh Farley.
