WB Equals was raised to the degree of Master Mason in 1976 in what remains his home lodge in Tulsa Oklahoma. A first generation Mason, Wayne moved to Kansas City and became active in Rising Sun Lodge in 2004 after a 20 year hiatus from the fraternity. Wayne is a member of the Scottish and York Rites as well as the Shrine. Since joining Rising Sun as a duel member with his Oklahoma Lodge, Wayne has served in the passed as Junior Stewart, Senior Deacon, Junior Warden Senior Warden, and now presides as Worshipful Master for 2009-2010.

Joe became a Master Mason in 2004 and has served Rising Sun #13 as Marshall, Junior Deacon, Senior Deacon, and Junior Warden before being elected this year to Senior Warden. Joe also serves in the line at Compass Lodge #120 and was first the Junior Deacon in 2007 then Junior Warden in 2008, Senior Warden 2009, and now Worshipful Master for 2010. Joe is an intricate part of our Lodge life in District #17.

Raised in 1962, Brother Snell is a 2nd generation Freemason. Phil has served over 8 years as treasurer of the lodge and his father was once Master of Rising Sun Lodge #13.

Secretary:

Worshipful Brother DeSelms has served as the Worshipful Master of Rising Sun Lodge twice in his 15 years as a Master Mason. Jack has served as Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Tyler, and Chaplain before accepting the roll as Lodge Secretary in 2005. Jack is also a 32° Scottish Rite Mason and an active leader in the Missouri Child Identification Program.

Senior Deacon:
Joe Frazier

Joe was raised in 2007 and has started his active role this year as Marshall. Joe lives in Kansas and joined Rising Sun Lodge because it was close to his work at Randy Reed where he runs the Parts department. Joe's cousin WB Randy Balentine, was Master of the Lodge in 1990.

Anthony was raised in 2008 at Rising Sun Lodge #13. He serves as the Junior Deacon at Rising Sun #13, and Senior Deacon at Compass #120. Anthony is also a 32° Scottish Rite Mason, member of Ararat Shrine, and serves unofficially as the Assistant Webmaster for modistrict17.org.

WB Taibi began his Masonic career in New York City in 1976. After a period with a Lodge in Long Island, Vince came to Kansas City in 1979... but it would be another 20 years before he became active at Rising Sun Lodge. Since that time, he has served as Junior Deacon, Senior Deacon, Junior Warden, Senior Warden and ultimately as Master for the 2003-2004 year. Vinnie's Masonic service continues as he sits in the Chaplin's chair again for 2009-2010.
